The 2024 Youth Fishing Rodeo takes place at the lake behind the Goose Creek Municipal Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 11th. All kids age 15 and under are invited to take part. To pre-register, fill out the registration waiver form on the QR code or click here. Read below for event reminders from SCDNR:

Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to park and check-in. This is a free event! Additional registration will be available on site until capacity is reached.

Reminders:

• Bring your own gear and bait.

• Cooler or bucket to transport fish

• No pets except service animals

• Adults may assist their children, ages 16 and over are not allowed to fish

• Feel free to pack a picnic lunch

• Consider bringing a chair, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray and water

You do not need to print off your ticket, however, please check in when you arrive.

Is there a catch limit?

There is no event specific catch limit. State fishing regulations still apply.

Can I register at the event?

Registration will be allowed on the day of the event if capacity allows.
