Goose Creek's unique history will again come to life this fall.

Former Mayor Michael Heitzler invites the public to a Goose Creek history lecture series at the Community Center. The lectures will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays in October and November, on Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, and Nov. 4, 11 and 18. 

Dr. Heitzler’s lectures include an in-depth look at the area’s history, from the first settlers in the Lowcountry to modern day Goose Creek. The lectures are open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.

The Community Center is located at the Michael J. Heitzler Recreation Complex, on the Municipal Center campus at 519A North Goose Creek Boulevard.
