Public invited to tour new fire station

Are you ready to take a peek inside the City of Goose Creek’s new fire station?
The Goose Creek Fire Department has announced an open house and dedication for its GCFD Headquarters Station at 201 Button Hall Avenue.
A dedication and grand opening ceremony for the new facility will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. For those unable to attend on Friday, an open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. Everyone is welcome to attend both days.
The GCFD moved into the 32,000-square foot headquarters station earlier this year. The station replaced the former headquarters facility, also located on Button Hall Avenue.
