Mayor proclaims National HIV Testing Day in Goose Creek

Mayor Habib has proclaimed that June 27, 2023, is National HIV Testing Day in Goose Creek.
National HIV Testing Day brings attention to HIV/AIDS, and the importance of HIV testing and knowing your HIV status. The theme of this year’s observance is “Take the Test & Take the Next Step.” The Mayor was joined by John Matthews of the Goose Creek NAACP for a signing ceremony at City Hall on June 23.
The Goose Creek NAACP, Mount Moriah Baptist Church, and Palmetto Community Care are providing free HIV testing from 3 to 7 p.m. on June 27 at the church.
