Mayor proclaims National Adult Day Services Week

The week of Sept. 17 to Sept. 23, 2017 has been proclaimed National Adult Day Services Week in Goose Creek. Active Day of the Lowcountry Director Pamela Kinloch joined Mayor Heitzler for a recent proclamation signing at City Hall.
The proclamation stresses the importance of awareness and education for the community regarding issues affecting seniors and adults with disabilities. It praises adult day services that “provide socialization, therapeutic programming, nutrition, supervised healthcare, rehabilitative therapies and respite for families.”
Active Day of the Lowcountry is located on Springhall Drive in Goose Creek.
