Citizen Check-In Program

The Service

The purpose of the Senior Safety Check program is to better serve the needs of our senior and shut-in populations checking in on them daily by phone. Eligible citizens enrolled in the program receive a telephone call each day at a predetermined time from our communications center. If contact cannot be made, a police officer will be dispatched to the residence for follow-up.

Eligibility

Eligible participants include City of Goose Creek Residents who:

Are over the age of 65
Have a medical or mental condition that requires the applicant to be confined to their residence
Have any other condition as deemed appropriate by the program administrator on a case by case basis

Application

Please download and complete the Citizen Check-In Program Application. Completed applications should be submitted to our records bureau during business hours.
