Frank Johnson joined the City of Goose Creek as the Public Information Officer and Annexation Coordinator in July 2015.
His duties include coordinating interaction between the city and residents, the media and other governmental agencies. As annexation coordinator, he advises and assists home or business owners interested in annexing their property into the city.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Frank earned a Bachelor’s degree in English. Prior to joining the City of Goose Creek, his work experience included over 10 years as a newspaper journalist in Summerville, Camden and Edgefield, SC. Most recently, he was the editor of the community newspapers in Goose Creek, Moncks Corner and Summerville.
