Goose Creek benefits from County's state-of-the-art recycling facility

A two-year-old recycling operation in Berkeley County separates recyclable material from residents trash after it is picked up.
The County’s state-of-the-art recycling facility processes all waste in Berkeley County. The facility, which is run by RePower South, automatically separates recyclable material from the trash. Trash that cannot be recycled will be taken to the county landfill.
Berkeley County fully transitioned to RePower South for its recycling program in 2019, and Goose Creek is included in the program.
