Volunteers sought for Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals

The City of Goose Creek is looking for three volunteers to serve on its Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals.
The Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals is composed of five members consisting of one engineer, one general contractor, and three members at-large from the building industry. The Board hears and decides appeals when it is alleged there is an error in any order or in a requirement, decision or determination made by the Building Official. The Board may authorize a variance from the terms of City Code. Meeting dates will be on an as-needed basis. For more information, call Kelly Lovette at (843) 797-6220 ext. 1113.
