JOB TITLE: *Customer Service Clerk (Part-time) (application)
DEPARTMENT: Recreation

DESCRIPTION: Position responsible for performing administrative and customer service duties in support of the Recreation Department.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in an office setting to include records management, contact with the public and utilizing computers. Candidate must be able to work Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and occasional weekends if needed for special events.
SALARY: $9.00 per hour. Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits but will be required to join the SC State Retirement System.

Responsibilities include repair and installation of valves, hydrants, pipe, and water meters; conducting distribution flushing activities and hydrant flow tests, monitoring water quality, and performing meter reading as necessary.

Experience in monitoring athletic activities and sports preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. CPR and First Aid Certification required within 90 days of hire.
SALARY: $8.50 per hour
