The following fees apply:

Crime report victims (as indicated in the report) and not at-fault parties (as indicated on traffic collision reports) or their parent/guardian, if juvenile, free of charge if requested in person.  All other parties must pay $5.

Collision reports may be obtained online by clicking

Reports generated beyond the preceding 14-days and other documentation will be made available in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as described below.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

The Goose Creek Police department, in good faith, abides by both the spirit and letter of the Freedom of Information Act (Sections 30-4-10 through 30-4-110 of the S.C. Code of Laws 1976, as amended).

Upon written request, we will attempt to provide reports and other readily retrievable documents while you wait.  Fees are based on research time required and the number of reports/documents requested.

Requests that involve extensive research, collection, and preparation will not be fulfilled while you wait. In such cases we will prepare an estimate of anticipated costs based upon the established document rate and hourly rate for the processing clerk's time and notify you as soon as practicable but within the 15-day window provided by the Act. The estimated cost must be paid prior to the research, collection and preparation of the documents requested.
