DEPARTMENT: Golf – Crowfield Golf Club

DESCRIPTION: Prepares food and beverages and provides service to customers in the snack bar and on the golf course. Maintains cleanliness in the work area.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the food service
industry preferred. Ability to learn to operate a computerized point-of-sale system. Must
be at least 21 years old.
SALARY: $7.25 per hour, plus tips
GRADE: Seasonal position. Successful candidate must be able to work flexible

DESCRIPTION: Position responsible for performing outside duties to include functions in the cart barn and on the course.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of related experience to include knowledge of rules of golf and golf course etiquette preferred. Must have a valid SC Driver’s License.

JOB TITLE: Lifeguards (Seasonal/Temporary) (application)

DESCRIPTION: Position responsible for monitoring activities at the swimming pool to assist swimmers and to take precaution to prevent accidents.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working as a lifeguard preferred. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, First Aid/CPR for Professional Rescuers Certification and a valid South Carolina Driver’s license are all required. Must be at least 16 years old.
SALARY: $8.00 per hour (Lifeguards with WSI certification will also be eligible to teach swimming lessons for a higher rate of pay.)

DESCRIPTION: Patrols the City providing police services in order to maintain public order and safety. Investigates crimes against persons/property and traffic accidents.
REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy or another state’s law enforcement training academy, B.L.E.T. or P.O.S.T. required. Valid SC Drivers License required.
SALARY: Minimum: $31,069 Midpoint: $39,172 Maximum: $47,275

DESCRIPTION: Position responsible for performing administrative and customer service duties in support of the Recreation Department. Monitors members using the gym and/or involved in basketball to ensure safety and enforcement of rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in an office setting to include contact with the public and utilizing computers. Experience in monitoring athletic activities and sports preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. CPR and First Aid Certification required within 90 days of hire.
