City of Goose Creek Emergency Preparedness Plan

All communities are susceptible to man-made and natural emergencies. While the threat of such situations should not interfere with day-to-day life, minor preparation for potential emergencies will help Goose Creek and its residents successfully withstand crisis situations.

This Web site offers residents information about potential emergencies and guidance when preparing for and managing those situations. This information was compiled with help from FEMA, the Red Cross and the Berkeley County Emergency Management Department.

It is important for residents to remember that each individual must make proper preparations to ensure that they can be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours after a storm or disaster.

Please visit the Red Cross or Berkeley County Emergency Management Division Web sites for more information on emergency planning.
