In 2001, Jeff Molinari became the Assistant City Administrator for the City of Goose Creek. Mr. Molinari came to Goose Creek from the University of South Carolina where he worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Public Service and Policy Research.
As the Assistant City Administrator, Mr. Molinari is responsible for securing and administering grants for hiker/biker trails and green space acquisition, economic development, downtown redevelopment, policy and budget analysis, research and coordinating special projects. He oversees the Public Information Office, Planning Department and Information Technology Department. In addition to these duties, Mr. Molinari serves as staff to the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) and also serves on the CHATS (Charleston Area Transportation Study) Enhancement Committee, Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Government (BCD COG) Environmental Committee, Bushy Park Community Advisory Panel and was recently appointed to the SCMIRF (South Carolina Municipal Insurance Risk Fund) Board.
In 1996, Jeff Molinari graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in History. He then attended graduate school at the University of South Carolina earning a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 2000. Mr. Molinari is also a member of the International City and County Management Association (ICMA) and the South Carolina City and County Management Association (SCCCMA).
