CITY OF GOOSE CREEK
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD MEETING
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2010, 6:30 p.m.
GOOSE CREEK MUNICIPAL CENTER
519 N. GOOSE CREEK BOULEVARD

I. Call To Order - Chairperson Sharon Clopton

Ms. Clopton called the meeting to order at 6:28 p.m.
Present: Kristen Bowden, Sharon Clopton, Jeri Haga, Tom Risso, and Fred Smith
Staff Present: Sarah Hanson

II. Review of Minutes - October 18, 2010

Motion: Mr. Risso made a motion to accept the minutes as submitted. Mr. Smith seconded.
Discussion: There was none.
Vote: All voted in favor.

III. New Business - Minor Applications

A. Advantage Health Care of Charleston - Freestanding Sign

Mr. Rucker with Nelson Sign Company presented the application. He explained the applicant was changing his name and also wished to change the colors for the sign.

Motion: Ms. Bowden made a motion to accept the application as submitted. Mr. Risso seconded.
Discussion: There was none.
Vote: All voted in favor; none opposed.

B. JK Harris - Front Entrance Improvement

Mr. Bassak with JK Harris presented the application. He explained there was a need to make their front entrance area more secure and wished to add ten bollards to the area, placed 48" apart. These would be painted yellow.

Motion: Mr. Risso made a motion to accept the application as submitted. Ms. Bowden seconded.
Discussion: There was brief discussion about the statement on the application regarding painting their sidewalk. Mr. Bassak explained that would be a part of future work and was not a part of this request.
Vote: All voted in favor; none opposed.

IV. Comments from ARB

Ms. Clopton asked if there was an update on Hardees, and Mr. Ben-Yisrael stated there was not.

Mr. Risso made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Smith seconded. All voted in favor. Meeting adjourned at or about 6:43 p.m.
