Jesica Johnson joined the City of Goose Creek as the Public Information Officer and Annexation Coordinator in March 2010.

As the Public Information Officer, Ms. Johnson coordinates all interaction between the City and citizens, the media and other governmental agencies. She shares information on the various City departments and manages the City’s image. As the Annexation Coordinator, she advises and assists homeowners interested in annexing their property into the City limits. Ms. Johnson is also responsible for event coordination, marketing and community relations.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Ms. Johnson earned a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA). Prior to joining the City of Goose Creek, Ms. Johnson worked as a Marketing/Recruitment Manager at the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation.
