ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING
MAY 5, 2010, 6:30 P.M.

I. Call To Order - Chairman Robert Williams

Chairman Robert Williams called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.

Present: Butch Clift, James Fisk, Kevin Smith, Thomas Volkmar, Robert Williams
Absent: Larry Monheit and Van Williams
Staff Present: Daniel Ben-Yisrael

Pledge of Allegiance

II. Review of Minutes -March 31, 2010

Motion: Mr. Clift made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Mr. Volkmar seconded the motion.
Discussion: There was none.
Vote: All in favor; none opposed.

III. Public Hearing - Request for Conditional Use Permit

Mr. Ben-Yisrael stated that the applicant for the hearing has withdrawn his application. He explained that it wasn't withdrawn until late the evening before. He stated there was no further action needed. There was a brief discussion as to the scope of the application and the need for more definite information for review, as the application was for future development with very little specific information.

IV. Comments from the Board

Mr. Volkmar asked about training being made available at periodic times to take care of the annual continuing education requirements, and Mr. Ben-Yisrael stated he was preparing materials that would then be submitted for approval.

V. Comments from Staff

Mr. Ben-Yisrael referred to an outline he had given to the Board providing guidance for structuring motions during a hearing, and there was a brief discussion about the procedures.

VI. Adjournment

Motion: Mr. Volkmar made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Clift seconded.
Discussion: There was none.
Vote: All in favor.
